Job summary

Incommunities, based in Bradford, is seeking an experienced Access Support Officer to coordinate access for annual gas servicing and ensure compliance with statutory obligations. The role involves liaising with residents, engineers, and the Legal Team to manage service programs and employment of external contracts.

The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, knowledge of housing standards, and the ability to apply legislation within a busy social housing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience dealing with the public face to face and over the phone.
• Knowledge of housing and estate management standards and practices.
• Ability to interpret and apply legislation and organisational procedures.
• Ability to communicate with diverse backgrounds, over phone and in person.
• Ability to negotiate and handle conflict calmly in stressful situations.
• Live locally to Bradford; office based with travel to properties.
• Must drive own vehicle.
• Right to work in the UK; visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate access to customers' homes for gas servicing and compliance with statutory obligations.
• Make day-to-day decisions to ensure gas servicing compliance.
• Recommend procedural changes to Gas Servicing Manager and senior management.
• Access to confidential tenancy and customer information.
• Schedule and coordinate annual gas service program across properties.
• Liaise with engineers to schedule access for servicing.
• Manage gas service appointments and on-site support.
