RECONN in Fort Wayne, IN is hiring Utility Inspection Technicians to inspect gas meters for leaks and corrosion, complete inspection paperwork, and report to the start of each shift. The role may require weekends and overtime during peak periods.

Starting pay is $20.00 per hour with daytime, full-time hours and instructor-led training provided. Benefits include comprehensive insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Proficient with current technology (smartphone/tablet).
• Ability to communicate effectively one-on-one and to groups.
• Willingness to work long hours and weekends.
• Outdoor work experience preferred; outdoors in all weather.
• Must hold a valid driver’s license and have a safe driving record.
• Ability to work independently and in a group.
• Ability to read utility maps.
