Job summary

RECONN is seeking an Utility Inspection Technician to enter commercial and residential facilities, check gas meters and pipes for leaks and corrosion, and complete required paperwork. This is a daytime, full-time role with overtime possible and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with technology and good communication skills.
• Customer service experience is a plus.
• Willingness to work outdoors and lift up to 75 lbs.

• Identify abnormal operating conditions and accurately fill out inspection forms.

This includes visual inspection and ensuring all required paperwork/data are completed. Meter Inspection Technicians will be required to report to their respective work area on time at the start of each shift. While on-site, the technician will be responsible for identifying any abnormal operating conditions along with accurately filling out all forms associated with the inspection visit (the form may be electronic or paper).These are daytime, full-time positions and overtime may be required. Instructor-led training will be provided.
