• High school diploma or GED; supplemented by two years experience operating SCADA or utility monitoring systems and gas distribution experience.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and controls gas flow using SCADA; adjusts valves and responds to alarms to maintain safe distribution.
• Receives reports of service interruptions; dispatches trouble or emergency calls to proper personnel.
• Maintains operational logs and records, including flow, pressure, work orders, and alarms.
• Assists supervisors with demand forecasting and system planning activities.
• Communicates status of operations to supervisors and field crews; coordinates with multiple teams as needed.
• Keeps up-to-date with applicable laws, regulations, and safety procedures.
