Job summary

Kinder Morgan is seeking a skilled technician in Indiana to monitor and control RNG gas processing facility equipment, including pumps, compressors, engines, and safety systems. The role emphasizes ensuring reliable operation and adherence to safety standards at the processing site.

Responsibilities include planning maintenance, monitoring process parameters, and complying with regulatory requirements (DOT, EPA). Rotating shifts, overtime, and occasional travel are part of the job.

Qualifications

• Must be prepared to execute emergency response activities at all times.
• Regular and predictable attendance required.
• Knowledge of compressor, pump, and general processing plant operations.
• Experience or familiarity analyzing, adjusting and making minor repairs on compressors, pumps and other associated equipment.
• OQ: Gas detection/alarms, valve maintenance, and related tasks.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control terminal components such as pumps, compressors, and related equipment to maintain operating parameters.
• Assist in planning and performance of maintenance and repairs on compressors, engines, turbines, and pumps.
• Ensure cost-effective and efficient performance of gas and liquid processing units and related equipment.
• Monitor product quality and take corrective actions if out of specification.
• Notify personnel of system status and compliance with regulations.
• Perform governmental compliance activities (DOT, EPA, etc.).
• Other duties as assigned.
