Job summary

Kinder Morgan, Inc. seeks a Plant Engineer to support LNG and RNG facilities in Indiana. You will lead process safety, troubleshoot equipment, and drive reliability and throughput improvements across gas processing and treatment operations adjacent to a landfill.

You will review P&IDs, assist with commissioning, and provide technical guidance to operators and teams. A BS in Chemical/Petroleum/Natural Gas engineering is required, with travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Chemical, petroleum or natural gas engineering is required.
• Related degrees with on-the-job experience may be considered.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to travel 30%–50% of time as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead process and operations safety for LNG and RNG facilities.
• Contribute to commissioning and startup activities.
• Modify and maintain P&IDs and related documents.
• Provide technical support for facility operations and issue resolution.
• Lead efficiency improvements and debottlenecking initiatives.
• Monitor and troubleshoot process equipment.
• Develop solutions to improve reliability and production.
• Review MOC and operations procedures for accuracy.
• Support process simulator development and maintenance.
