Job summary

Energy Transfer LP in Premont, Texas, seeks a facility operator to ensure reliable operation of compressors, pumps, tanks, and related gas processing equipment at plant facilities and pipelines.

You will monitor pressures, temperatures, and flow; respond to alarms, perform routine maintenance, and coordinate with control centers, with 24/7 shift rotations and strict adherence to safety and environmental standards. Occasional travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 0–2 years for Level C, 2–4 years for Level B, 4+ years for Level A in relevant industry experience.
• Must maintain valid driver's license and pass safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate, inspect, and maintain plant equipment (compressors, pumps, controls, and related systems).
• Monitor pressures, temperatures, and flow rates to meet specifications.
• Respond to alarms and take corrective actions; perform routine maintenance.
• Coordinate with control centers and other groups; supervise third-party work as needed.
