Job summary

Energy Transfer LP is seeking a plant operator to manage compressors, pumps, and related gas processing equipment across our facilities and pipelines. The role emphasizes safe, cost-effective operation with a focus on regulatory compliance and process optimization.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, valid driver's license, and the ability to work in a 24/7 environment, including shift rotations and potential call-outs. Experience level varies by job grade.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Level C/B/A experience ranges specified for the role.
• Must maintain valid driver's license in state of residence.
• Excellent organizational skills and written/verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Operate, inspect, and maintain plant equipment and systems (cryogenic plants, fractionation units, process controls, LNG facilities, engines, compressors, pumps, treating, dehydration, etc.).
• Monitor pressures, temperatures, flow, and levels to achieve desired operating results.
• Respond to alarms and problems and take corrective actions.
• Maintain compliance with safety and environmental standards and company procedures.
• Coordinate with control centers and other groups; oversee third-party work and contractor activities.
• May perform lab tests, diagnose problems, perform minor repairs, and assist staff as needed.
• Adhere to lockout/tagout procedures and safety programs.
