Job summary

Energy Transfer is seeking a Plant Operator for our Texas facilities in Premont to operate, inspect and maintain compressors, turbines, cooling equipment, pumps and pipelines. The role ensures safe, reliable, cost-effective gas processing and treating operations while adhering to all procedures and regulatory requirements.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, and be able to work a 24/7 shift.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license in state of residency.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a 24/7 operational environment and handle emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Operate, inspect, and maintain plant equipment including compressors, LNG facilities and related systems.
• Respond to alarms and take corrective actions to maintain safe operations.
• Monitor pressures, temperatures, flow rates, and levels to meet process targets.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and regulatory standards.
