Job summary

Energy Transfer is seeking an Operator to run and maintain gas processing equipment at our facilities. You will monitor compressors, pumps, and pipelines, respond to alarms, and ensure safe, compliant operation around the clock.

Emphasis on teamwork, reliability, and effective communication with control centers and field crews. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and can work in a 24/7 environment, with the ability to handle high-stress situations and show strong organizational

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Experience aligned with level A/B/C: 4+ years for Level A, 2–4 for Level B, 0–2 for Level C.
Valid driver's license required.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Ability to work in a 24/7 operation and handle high-stress situations.

Responsibilities

Operate, inspect, and maintain plant equipment and systems (compressors, pumps, valves, pipelines) safely and efficiently.
Respond to alarms and implement corrective actions as needed.
Monitor pressures, temperatures, and flow rates to meet process targets.
Participate in safety programs and comply with policies and procedures.
Coordinate with control centers and third-party teams for maintenance and projects.
May perform basic lab tests and assist with repairs as required.
