Job summary

Howard Energy Partners is seeking a Plant Operator to ensure safe, efficient operation of our midstream facilities in Kansas. The role covers cryogenic plants, amine treating, dehydration systems, tank farm, utilities, and related equipment.

Expect a hands-on environment with growth opportunities across entry to senior levels. You’ll follow SOPs, maintain records, and collaborate with maintenance while upholding PSM and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience operating HMI/DCS systems preferred.
• Ability to follow SOPs and safety policies.
• Willingness to participate in on-call duties.

Responsibilities

• Monitor flows, temperatures, pressures, and levels across plant systems.
• Operate plant processes using HMI/DCS systems.
• Record process data and prepare operating reports.
• Notify maintenance of deviations and participate in lockout/tag-out.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety policies, and environmental standards.
• Assist in training entry-level operators.
