Job summary

Energy Transfer in Texas is seeking an experienced plant operator to run compressors, motors, pumps, valves, and related gas processing equipment. You will ensure safe, cost-effective operation across gas facilities, pipelines, and LNG related systems in accordance with procedures and regulations.

The role requires hands-on maintenance, alarm response, SCADA monitoring, and the ability to work in a 24/7 environment with rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license in state of residency.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a 24/7 operational environment and shift rotations.

Responsibilities

• Operate, inspect, and maintain plant equipment and systems.
• Respond to alarms and take corrective action.
• Monitor pressures, temperatures, and flow rates to meet specs.
• Coordinate with control centers and third-party crews.
• Support safety programs and comply with environmental standards.
