Job summary

Tallgrass is seeking a skilled operator to manage installation, operation and maintenance of natural gas liquid processing facilities. You will monitor process variables, start/stop engines and pumps, and perform maintenance while coordinating with control centers and other teams.

A strong safety mindset and ability to handle documentation are essential. Minimum high school diploma with 2 years relevant experience or equivalent; valid driver’s license required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of compressor or pump station operations.
• Knowledge of gas and liquid processing theories and fundamentals.
• Willingness to achieve and maintain Operator Qualifications (OQ).
• Intermediate proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and insurability.

Responsibilities

• Operate compressors, engines, turbines, pumps, and related equipment.
• Monitor process variables and maintain designated parameters.
• Start/stop engines and pumps to meet operating specs.
• Plan and perform maintenance/repairs on equipment.
• Ensure cost-effective performance of processing units.
• Monitor product quality and respond to out-of-spec results.
• Coordinate with control centers and other operating groups.
• Complete required documentation and paperwork.
• Participate in safety and environmental initiatives.
