Job summary

Duke Energy seeks a Gas Process Owner to drive continuous improvement across Gas Operations, guiding cross-functional teams and fostering a Lean Six Sigma culture.

You will analyze processes, lead Kaizen events, and deliver projects up to $1 million in scope, with a hybrid work arrangement and onsite requirements as needed.

Bachelor's degree plus four years of related experience required; Lean Six Sigma certifications and strong facilitation skills preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 4+ years of related work experience.
• Preferred Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and/or Yellow Belt; PMP certification is a plus.
• Strong analytical and soft skills; proven meeting facilitation and documentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex or high-profile cross-functional continuous improvement projects using Lean Six Sigma (LSS).
• Facilitate project identification and completion with stakeholders and teams.
• Conduct process mapping, value stream mapping, and ROI analysis using LSS, Agile & Design Thinking tools.
• Utilize data and LSS framework to develop and implement solutions.
• Perform change management to ensure successful implementation.
