Job summary

Kinetik in Pecos, Texas is seeking a Plant Operator to run and maintain gas processing equipment on a rotating 7 on 7 off schedule, including nights and days. Monitor safety programs, operate from the central control room and field, and perform routine inspections to ensure compliant operations.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma and at least 2 years of related experience, plus strong communication and computer skills (Excel and Word).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years related work experience preferred.
• Strong communication and planning skills; solid background in computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain the gas processing plant and related facilities.
• Monitor and control plant equipment from central control room and on-site using HMI and related systems.
• Record daily process conditions and production quantities in computer and mobile devices.
• Maintain communication with colleagues via email, telephone and radios.
• Perform regular inspections to detect malfunctions and ensure safe, compliant operation.
• Adhere to training, policies and procedures; perform additional duties as assigned.
