Kinder Morgan, Inc. is seeking an Operations Specialist based at the Albany Compressor Station No. 204 in Albany, OH.

The role focuses on safe operation and maintenance of natural gas compressor units, power generation equipment, and pipeline facilities, with a proactive approach to balancing planned and emergent work. Candidates should be able to perform routine service, troubleshoot engine-driven systems, follow site procedures and contribute to cost-effective operation.

Qualifications

• Ability to organize, plan, prioritize, document and complete work with minimal supervision.
• Active participation in safety programs and initiatives.
• Willingness to learn various operating systems and company software.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals).
• Ability to work in a team and follow directions from supervisors.
• Hold a valid driver’s license and maintain a satisfactory driving record.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain natural gas compressor units and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose engine-driven compressors, motors, generators and related devices.
• Follow site procedures and work plans; identify areas for procedural improvements.
• Ensure safe operation and cost-effective performance of engines and equipment.
• Perform routine service and maintenance; assist with pipeline pigging and ILI activities as needed.
