Job summary

Kinder Morgan, Inc. is seeking a field technician responsible for installation, operation and maintenance of natural gas pipelines, compression stations and related field operations.

You will install, repair and maintain valves, pumps, engines, and related equipment to ensure safe, reliable energy delivery. The role involves coordinating with third parties, adhering to safety and regulatory standards, inspecting work, and supporting maintenance planning, budgeting and documentation across

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong mechanical skills and manual dexterity are essential.
• Ability to read blueprints and P&IDs and diagnose issues.
• Proficiency with common hand tools and mechanical instruments.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, service and maintain valves, pipe, and pipeline appurtenances.
• Operate and maintain equipment such as compressors and generators.
• Oversee third-party crews and monitor 811 tickets.
• Perform safety, environmental, and compliance inspections.
• Maintain records and assist with budgets and cost control.
