Job summary

Enbridge Inc. is hiring a Field Technician I to support safe and reliable operation of station equipment. You will monitor, inspect, and maintain compressors, valves, and related systems while ensuring compliance with safety procedures and regulatory standards.

The role emphasizes teamwork, accurate reporting, and readiness to respond to emergencies. Strong technical skills and a valid driver’s license are essential, with field-based duties across various sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Strong technical and analytical skills demonstrated through training or experience.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and inspect station compressors, prime movers, valves, and auxiliary equipment; adjust modes to meet demands and respond to alarms.
• Follow safety procedures and code requirements.
• Participate in safety programs and maintain safe work conduct.
• Perform maintenance and repair tasks in compliance with policies and external regulations.
• Complete paperwork and reports related to equipment maintenance accurately.
• Respond to equipment malfunctions, damage, or emergencies to safeguard life and property.
• Review drawings, sketches, and as-builts for maintenance tasks.
• Apply lock out/tag out procedures to ensure personnel safety.
