Job summary

Ameren Missouri is seeking a Supervisor, Gas Operations to lead daily gas construction and service crews, ensuring safe, compliant operations in line with collective bargaining agreements. The role emphasizes safety leadership, productivity, and collaboration with internal teams and external partners.

Responsibilities include scheduling and directing crews, enforcing safety rules, and driving continuous improvement across the gas distribution function, with a focus on cost control and quality

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Five or more years of relevant experience (gas distribution, construction, maintenance, planning, project management, analysis and/or design) required OR five or more years in heavy industry/utility supervision including at least three years gas experience.
• Proficiency with general computer skills and basic knowledge of TRIS, OAS, and DOJM systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, develop, and evaluate crews engaged in construction and maintenance of the gas distribution system, with clear performance expectations.
• Schedule, assign and direct the workforce safely and efficiently, coordinating with customers, contractors and other departments; manage overtime and tracking of work, time, and materials.
• Consistently enforce safety rules and HR policies across crews and projects.
• Contribute to division goals and implement improvements to control costs and boost productivity.
