Peoples Gas System in Florida (Tampa) is seeking an Engineer II to develop and maintain engineering standards, manuals, and procedures. You will act as a primary operations liaison with the corporate engineering department, ensuring business needs are met and standards are implemented.

Strong project management and analytical skills are essential. The role requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering (ABET-accredited), at least 4 years in engineering, and proficiency with AutoCAD or MicroStation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an ABET accredited college program.
• Minimum of 4 years of related experience as an Engineer.
• Demonstrated knowledge of policies, procedures, and engineering techniques; ability to read plans and apply standards.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate and apply standard engineering techniques with sound judgment.
• Prepare engineering analyses, specifications and reports as directed.
• Coordinate project meetings and support training and orientation for staff.
• Support development and maintenance of manuals, procedures, and standards.
