Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or Civil preferred).
• 3–6 years’ experience in pipeline simulation and modeling.
• Experience with ProMax/NextGen pipeline and plant simulation software.
• Experience with compressor modeling software, preferably Ariel Compressors.
• Understanding of MAOP/OPP protection related to field compression.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently with staff of varying skills.
• Knowledge of 49 CFR Parts 192 and 195 for pipelines and facilities.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word, Access, and Outlook.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage full project cycle for small field generated plant improvement projects including scope, design, procurement, construction and completion.
• Communicate with operations personnel and contractors for small project implementation.
• Manage full project cycle for medium sized commercial expansion projects including scope, design, procurement, construction and completion.
• Work with operations personnel to improve field compression reliability, including compressor performance and over pressure protection of pipelines.
• Collaborate with Facility Planning to obtain simulation results for gathering system expansion projects.
• Assist plant operations daily to improve operations (troubleshooting).
• Participate in PSM activities and maintain facility drawings, action items, etc.
• Maintain facility process simulations and develop solutions following codes, safety standards, and good engineering practices.
• Proactively broaden engineering knowledge and proficiencies.
