Xcel Energy is offering an internship in Colorado for a position supporting Gas Operations Technical Specialists and Brighton operations. The role focuses on developing SOPs, cleaning SAP reports, and ensuring compliance-driven maintenance plans.

The intern will collaborate with foremen and seniors and may extend beyond the internship term based on performance. Ideal candidates are current ABET-accredited students pursuing Business or Engineering, able to work up to 40 hours in summer and up to

Qualifications

• Must be a current student enrolled in ABET-accredited college or university.
• Pursuing a degree in Business or Engineering.
• Able to work full-time during summer (up to 40 hours/week) and part-time during school year (up to 20 hours/week).
• Able to commute to the designated work location per hybrid policy.

Responsibilities

• Support GOTS and Brighton operations to develop SOPs and clean up reports.
• Clean up SAP reports and gather information for Standards.
• Develop SOPs and maintenance plans.
• Assist with compliance-driven maintenance tasks.
