Job summary

Weston & Sampson Engineers Inc. is seeking a Mechanical or Civil Engineer in South Carolina to support gas distribution and LNG facility projects across regions. You will prepare studies, designs and specifications, and perform site visits for tests, inspections and construction observation.

Strong AutoCAD/3D CAD skills and a valid driver’s license are essential. The role involves office work on design, data review and technical reporting, plus collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering (or equivalent) is required.
• EIT certification preferred.
• Experience on natural gas, LNG or water/wastewater utility projects a plus.
• A strong skill set with AutoCAD or other 3D CAD software is required.

Responsibilities

• Support permitting, design and construction of gas distribution, pipeline, and LNG facility projects.
• Prepare engineering studies, design plans and specifications.
• Visit job sites for field tests, data gathering, inspections and construction observation.
• Office work may include design, data review/analysis, and technical report preparation.
• Collaborate with a multidiscipline team and other staff in a team environment.
• Work on multiple energy projects, with emphasis on natural gas and LNG.
