Job summary

Weston & Sampson Engineers Inc. is seeking motivated engineers with 0–4 years of experience to support natural gas projects along the east coast. Flexible location within Greenville, Charleston, or Columbia, SC.

You will join a growing Energy Practice focused on delivering safe, sustainable and high-quality engineering solutions for gas distribution, LNG facilities, and related infrastructure. EIT is preferred; travel and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering required.
• EIT certification preferred.
• Experience with natural gas, LNG, or water/wastewater projects a plus.
• Strong CAD skills using AutoCAD or similar 3D CAD software.
• Valid driver's license; willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Support permitting, design and construction phases of gas distribution, pipeline and LNG facility projects.
• Prepare engineering studies, design plans and specifications.
• Visit job sites for field tests, data gathering, inspections and construction observation.
• Perform office tasks such as data review, data management and technical report preparation.
• Collaborate in a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Work on multiple energy projects with emphasis on natural gas and LNG.

Education

Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Civil Engineering

EIT certification preferred

Experience on natural gas, LNG or water/wastewater utilities a plus
