Qualifications

• Experience in appliance- or fireplace-service roles including gas fireplaces.
• Basic knowledge of gas-fireplace systems and operation.
• Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check and work independently or with a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose gas-fireplace problems and determine repairs.
• Repair or replace components such as gas valves and ignition systems.
• Clean and maintain gas fireplaces for safe, efficient operation.
• Install gas fireplaces per manufacturer specs and codes.
• Troubleshoot electrical, gas, and mechanical fireplace issues.
• Explain repair options and maintenance to customers.
• Maintain records of work performed, parts used, and time spent.
• Keep vehicles, tools, and work areas clean and organized.
• Follow safety requirements and company procedures.
• Obtain NFI certification within one calendar year.
