Job summary

Atmos Energy Corporation is seeking a field service technician to respond to customer requests, perform connections and disconnections as qualified, and ensure the customer is informed and satisfied with the service provided.

The role involves installing, programming, and operating Wireless Meter Reading (WMR) equipment, reading meters for billing, and maintaining accurate records to meet company and regulatory requirements while supporting safe operation of company assets.

Qualifications

Requires a high school diploma or GED.
Requires valid driver's license.
Safety-focused with pre/post-employment screenings (DOT/ PHMSA) and motor vehicle checks.

Responsibilities

Responds to customer service requests including connections and disconnections as operator qualified.
Informs customer of needed repairs and ensures understanding and satisfaction with work.
Installs, programs, and operates Wireless Meter Reading (WMR) equipment.
Reads meters and records usage for billing.
Completes and maintains accurate records to comply with company and regulatory requirements.
