Job summary

UGI Utilities, Inc. seeks a Business Development Engineer to design natural gas facilities for business development projects, including mains, services, metering, and pressure regulator stations.

You will develop project cost estimates and manage projects with engineering design consultants and the Sales group. This on-site role in PA requires a Bachelor of Science in Engineering; 0–3 years of experience; EIT preferred; future PE license preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering.
• Experience in an engineering position (energy or utility experience preferred).
• Engineer I: 0 - 2 years of experience.
• Engineer II: 2 - 3 years of experience.
• EIT preferred.
• Future PE License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design natural gas facilities including mains, services, metering, and pressure regulator stations for business development projects, including conversions and new construction.
• Develop project cost estimates utilizing Design Manager/DOJM and other work order systems; provide inputs for profitability reviews.
• Manage business development projects in various work order systems; coordinate workload and material procurement; monitor costs and variances.
• Prepare job completion packages for Central Maps & Records and Accounting with required checklists and close-outs.
