Job summary

INNIO Group is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Field Service Technician to work on high‑performance Jenbacher gas engines (0.25‑9.5 MW). You’ll perform hands‑on maintenance, troubleshooting, commissioning, and overhauls across industries with fuels like biogas and landfill gas.

Role involves extensive travel (up to 80%), remote work as needed, and delivering detailed technical reports while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time, including overnight stays.
• Experience in field service for automotive, power generation, or heavy equipment.
• Ability to work remotely as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on service activities per engine maintenance protocols (filters, inspections, measurements).
• Execute minor repairs and address issues beyond planned maintenance.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic failures; analyze historical engine data; propose solutions.
• Coordinate with third-party suppliers as needed.
• Collaborate with colleagues, subcontractors, and customers independently or as a team.
