Job summary

INNIO is seeking a Field Service Technician to join our Northeast/MA based team. You will perform preventative maintenance and diagnostic repairs on Jenbacher gas engines and related systems at customer sites in the region.

The role requires strong mechanical skills, troubleshooting ability, and the willingness to travel, including overnight assignments. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential for delivering reliable energy solutions.

Qualifications

• Must have strong customer service mindset and technical focus.
• 7+ years’ experience in a technical role or equivalent is preferred.
• Experience with Jenbacher gas engines or field service is a plus.
• Fluency in English required; strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on engines and associated equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair engine systems in the field.
• Read and interpret safety documents, schematics, and diagrams.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and maintain accurate service records.
• Collaborate with team to meet project goals across industries.
• Travel including overnight stays as needed.
• Communicate effectively via telephone and email.
