Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years electric and/or gas distribution design experience or a Bachelors degree in electrical or mechanical engineering with 3+ years of experience.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary design teams and managing design resources.
• Ability to mentor and train designers and participate in safety and process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction for distribution design activities across multiple teams.
• Develop and manage unit plans, goals, and budgets aligned with corporate strategy.
• Mentor new hires and existing designers using skill-based programs and training resources.
• Support after-hours on-call duties and storm restoration efforts as needed.
• Collaborate with other units to share best practices and ensure regulatory compliance.
