Job summary

Summit Utilities, Inc. is seeking a Construction & Maintenance Technician I (SGL3) based in Cushing, OK to perform field operations installing, repairing, and maintaining natural gas distribution systems. The role requires manual labor, tool use, and adherence to safety policies.

You will respond to emergencies, locate gas lines, handle equipment, and work outdoors in all weather. A high school diploma or GED and a valid driver's license are required, with CDL and welding experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be available to respond to emergencies during and after hours.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, or replace steel and plastic pipe.
• Provide First Responder assistance in emergency situations
• Load and unload equipment, tools, and supplies onto and from truck
• Locate gas lines
• Operate a variety of hand tools and power tools
• Operate a motor vehicle and heavy equipment as required
• Submit to random drug screen pool per DOT policies
• Perform other duties as assigned
