Job summary

Eversource is seeking a seasoned supervisor to lead gas maintenance and construction field workloads across our distribution network. You will coordinate in-house and contractor crews, develop schedules, and ensure work complies with company standards, safety rules, and regulatory requirements.

This safety‑sensitive role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field and five years’ experience in gas distribution or field service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Five (5) or more years in Gas Distribution, Field Service design/installation, or utility operations.
• Valid Driver’s License; ability to obtain Operator Qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and manage gas maintenance and construction field workload with accurate coordination and scheduling.
• Supervise in-house and contractor crews to ensure high quality workmanship and productivity.
• Serve as on-scene supervisor during outages and classify gas leaks; ensure procedures are followed.
• Participate in the supervisory on-call rotation and coordinate with unionized crews.
• Conduct weekly safety meetings and ensure compliance with rules and laws.
