Job summary

Eversource Energy is seeking a qualified engineer to support the design, maintenance, and operation of gas distribution systems. The role focuses on risk reduction, compliance with energy regulations, and collaboration with cross-functional teams across planning, design, and operations.

A BS in engineering and at least three years of relevant experience are required. The position involves travel to CT/MA sites as needed and may include emergency restoration duties.

Qualifications

• Requires BS Engineering or BS Engineering Technology.
• Minimum of three years relevant experience.
• Gas industry experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develops tactical plans and implements strategic plans for the group to reduce risk and improve asset condition in compliance with regulations.
• Supports development of risk management programs and data quality reviews.
• Coordinates with risk, safety groups and regulators; provides testimony as required.
• Assists in annual capital budgeting and long-range planning with stakeholders.
