Job summary

Summit Utilities seeks a C&M Crew Leader (SGL6) in Ada, OK. You will plan, direct and supervise gas distribution work, install and maintain steel and plastic pipe, and coach a crew through welding and fusion tasks while ensuring safety and compliance.

You will locate lines before excavation, manage equipment transport, and complete required documentation, contributing to reliable service for our communities.

Qualifications

• Requires a Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
• Strong knowledge of safety standards and regulations for field operations.
• Ability to use proper tools and perform plastic fusion and welding.
• Experience leading a GAS distribution crew is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead gas distribution work for a construction crew.
• Install/repair steel and plastic pipe.
• Train, coach and supervise crew members.
• Locate gas lines and ensure other utilities are located before excavation.
• Ensure quality welding by crew members.
• Complete paperwork and reports as required.
