Job summary

Summit Utilities, Inc. is seeking a Supervisor of Engineering (SGL35) in Lawton, OK to lead engineering design, permitting, and project delivery for natural gas transmission and distribution systems.

You will oversee design work, budgeting, and collaboration with construction management, regulators, and external partners. The role requires a BS in Engineering, at least five years of engineering experience, and a Professional Engineer license.

Responsibilities

• Supervise an engineering team per company policies and laws; recruit, train, and evaluate staff.
• Mentor and coach team members and aid in their professional development.
• Prepare, evaluate, and approve engineering drawings, details, and construction specifications.
• Coordinate with consulting engineers and vendors; manage contracts and procurement.
• Engage with public, developers, and regulatory bodies on zoning and expansion projects.
