Job summary

Centuri Construction Group, Inc. is seeking a Gas Crew Apprentice in Centerville, UT. This entry-level role includes 1–4 weeks of paid training before field work, guided by a Foreman and peers such as Equipment Operators and Pipefitters.

Responsibilities include digging, trenching and shoring with heavy equipment, while complying with safety and English-language instructions. A valid driver’s license and a strong willingness to learn a trade are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record.
• Strong desire to learn a new trade.

Responsibilities

• Use hand tools to dig around existing utility structures to prevent damage.
• Load and unload equipment and materials.
• Keep worksite clean and organized free from unnecessary hazards.
• Perform regular maintenance and cleaning on assigned vehicles and equipment.
• Maintain all industry required Operator Qualifications.
• Perform other responsibilities as requested by leadership.
