Burckhardt Compression (US) Inc. is seeking a hands-on Service Center Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and overhaul gas engine compressor packages and associated equipment in a demanding field environment.

You will interpret technical manuals, perform preventive and corrective maintenance, and support commissioning and start-up activities while upholding safety standards. This role requires reading P&IDs, using OEM diagnostics, coordinating parts, and mentoring junior technicians as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
• 3–5 years of field mechanical service experience related to gas compression or production equipment.
• Knowledge of gas compressors, engines, and related mechanical systems.

Responsabilités

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on gas compressors, engines, production equipment, and related systems.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and overhaul mechanical equipment and compressor packages.
• Perform equipment assembly, disassembly, installation, and major/minor overhauls.
• Support equipment start-up and commissioning activities.
• Read and interpret P&IDs, blueprints, manuals, and OEM documentation.
