Job summary

Burckhardt Compression AG. is seeking an experienced Service Center Technician to join our team.

You will troubleshoot, repair, maintain, overhaul, and commission gas engine compressor packages and related equipment, ensuring safe and reliable operation. You will work with a technical team, perform diagnostics with OEM tools, interpret P&IDs and manuals, and provide guidance to junior technicians while supporting lead roles when needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
• 3–5 years in mechanical service, gas compression, or related field.
• Experience with installation, commissioning, and repair of gas compression equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on gas compressors, engines, and related systems.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and overhaul mechanical equipment and compressor packages.
• Assemble, disassemble, install, and overhaul equipment; support start-up and commissioning.
