Job summary

Primary Talent Partners has a 12 week contract opening for a Plant Operator to join a national gas and electric company for a fully onsite position operating out of Columbus, OH.

As part of the Clearance Coordination Center, the Clearance Coordinator authorizes gas-related work, plans and implements processes, and ensures situational awareness for gas assets. The role involves audits, data analysis, and collaboration with field personnel and upstream providers to maintain safe operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and basic experience in similar roles are required.
• Ability to read, write and interpret technical plans, processes, and procedures.
• Good planning and communication skills, written and verbal.
• Ability to work under emergency/contingency conditions and adapt quickly.
• Willingness to pursue self-guided study and training per instruction.

Responsibilities

• Execute clearance requests by handling calls and reviewing records to permit field work.
• Analyze and record work using clearance management tools and dashboards.
• Use data to verify compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
• Support audit requests and risk mitigations across SWA and related processes.
• Communicate changes to upstream suppliers, Gas Control, and field personnel.
• Collaborate with other coordinators and engineers to avoid simultaneous work.
• Coordinate system changes with multiple departments and ensure safety.
