Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated seeks a technically skilled individual to join the Technical Support/Repair Lab, assisting with SO2, TRS, H2S, NOX, and other gas instrumentation, and PM2.5/PM10 particulate instrumentation. The role begins in the Customer Service/Repair Lab with progression toward an Engineering Technician position within the Technical Support Center.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in a mechanical related field or equivalent work experience.
• 3–5 years in a service-related environment with electronic, pneumatic and electro-mechanical instrumentation.
• Proficient with test equipment: VOM, oscilloscopes, recorders, hand tools, test jigs and custom test equipment.
• Able to exercise judgment within defined procedures and communicate clearly in writing and speech.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer assistance by repairing and advising on repair and use of API analyzers and related equipment.
• Handle semi-routine assignments and identify when deviation from standard practice is needed.
• Troubleshoot electronic control systems and analog/digital surface mount boards.
• Solve start-up, calibration problems and repair instruments within assigned products.
