Job summary

Teledyne API in San Diego seeks a Manufacturing Technician to repair API analyzers and assist production and technical support. You will work with gas analyzers for SO2, NOx, O2 and more, performing troubleshooting and calibration in a training-to-engineering path.

The role requires 3–5 years in a service-related environment, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and travel up to 10% to support customers and sites.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in mechanical field or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years in service-related environment for instrumentation/automation.
• Experience using VOM, oscilloscopes, recorders, hand tools, test jigs and custom test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Repairing API analyzers and associated equipment.
• Provide customer assistance and troubleshooting for gas instrumentation.
• Calibrate and start-up of instruments; assist in lab repairs.
