Job summary

Paylocity is seeking a Garnishment Services Specialist Level I for an in-office role at one of our U.S. locations. You will read court orders, set up garnishments in the HR&P system, and coordinate client calls while handling multiple orders with accuracy.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree, at least 1 year in a client-facing/payroll-related role, and strong written and verbal communication. This position offers comprehensive benefits and a path for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of 1 year in a client-facing role, payroll, accounting, garnishment processing, or taxes in a customer service or shared services environment.
• Experience in a Paylocity account manager or implementation consultant role is preferred.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Sophisticated writing and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain garnishment rules in system to determine proper withholding from employee wages according to state rules and garnishment type.
• Maintain employee garnishment data with start and stop dates for each order; process ordered wage garnishments such as child support and tax levies.
• Process E-file documents to courts (as applicable).
• Respond promptly to client’s garnishment inquiries.
• Partner with Account Managers to resolve client inquiries.
• Identify issues and use resources to provide solutions for clients.
• Provide professional communication and progress updates to stakeholders.
• Manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
• Ensure Garnishment Orders/ Writs comply with laws and regulations.
