Responsibilities

• While performing duties, one will be required to regularly taste, touch, and/or smell products utilizing appropriate methods to ensure quality and consistency.
• Must possess sensory awareness and color perception as well as a distinctive palette and sense of depth to aid in the performance of the culinary arts. Must show knowledge of Classical European, International, and World Cuisine, including philosophies and principles.
• Inspects presentation quality and expedites the line as needed.Have the ability to work any station in the culinary area if required to do so.
• Maintain workstation and equipment safety and cleanliness. Maintain walking coolers, freezer, and dry storage clean, organized, and in accordance with proper sanitary food conservation.
• Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures, and report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager.
• Complete safety training and certifications.
• Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
• Maintain the confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets.
• Speak with others using clear and professional language.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others.
• Support team to reach common goals; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
