Job summary

Lake Nona Wave Hotel in Orlando, FL is seeking a restaurant service associate to support the serving staff, ensure prompt service, and maintain dining room cleanliness. You will help clear tables, reset for new guests, and assist with guest requests to ensure exceptional experiences.

Fluency in English and prior hospitality or food service experience are preferred. Alcohol service and Food Handler certifications are required, and flexibility with schedule is essential.

Job Overview

You will be an integral member of a team that creates disctinctively different and authentic experiences for our guests. You will be responsible for supporting the serving staff, ensuring prompt service, and overseeing dining room cleanliness to ensure guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

Essential Functions

• Flexibility. This is a demanding business, and we look for flexibility with workdays and hours, but it’s also a lot of fun!
• Experience. Previous experience passionately providing service to others preferred.
• Knowledge. Alcohol service and Food Handler certifications are required. Familiarity with restaurant terminology and food service techniques is preferred.
• People Person. The best part of serving others is creating experiences for them that go beyond the expected.
• Great communicator. Providing amazing experiences requires the ability to communicate fluently in English both verbally and through legible writing.
