Job summary

Vestis Corporation in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking a warehouse associate to join our industrial laundry team. You will help ensure the safe, expeditious, and accurate handling of merchandise as it moves through the facility.

You will follow shipping schedules, sort garments by route, hang items, monitor for wrinkles and defects, and maintain a clean, safe work environment. Overtime and weekend shifts may be required. This role offers steady hours and opportunities for advancement within Vestis.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic math skills required.
• Good communication, either verbal or written.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Familiarize with garment numbering system and shipping schedule board.
• Follow shipping schedule and separate garments by route or sort.
• Move garments from supply rail to conveyors or hooks by route/sort number.
• Hang shirts by route and pants by batch before proceeding to next batch.
• Identify odd garments and place them in correct space on garment bar.
• Notify supervisor of quality, mechanical, or shipping issues.
• Monitor wrinkles and reject items not meeting quality standards.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and follow best practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
