Job summary

Vestis is seeking a warehouse associate to join its industrial laundry facility. You will follow the garment numbering system (GID), monitor the shipping schedule, and separate garments into the correct routes to keep the line moving.

You will remove garments from supply rails, hang items by route, and report quality or schedule issues to supervision. The role requires endurance in a warehouse environment, teamwork, and adherence to safety practices.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to work in a team and meet attendance schedule.
• Willingness to work in a warehouse environment including extreme temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Understand the garment numbering system (GID) and shipping schedule board.
• Follow shipping schedule and sort garments by route (first, second, or third).
• Remove garments from supply rail and place on conveyors or hooks by route.
• Hang shirts by route, then pants, before next batch.
• Inform supervisor of quality, mechanical, or schedule problems.
• Monitor garments for wrinkles and reject items not meeting quality standards.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and follow best production practices.
• Other duties as assigned.
