Job summary

Vestis Corporation, a provider of uniforms, workplace supplies and professional cleaning, is hiring for a warehouse role in our industrial laundry facility. You will join a team ensuring safe, expeditious, and accurate handling of merchandise on the wash floor, contributing to overall productivity and quality control.

This position requires physical stamina, the ability to follow instructions, good math and communication skills, and the readiness to work weekends or overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand all required training, written, and verbal instructions.
• Working knowledge of basic math skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to meet attendance schedule.

Responsibilities

• Prepares appropriate numbers of daily slings or carts/carriers for the wash floor.
• Verifies merchandise type and quantity on PUC card; segregates like items together in a sling.
• Identifies counts, and totals ruin or damaged merchandise and records on the PUC card.
• Maintains safe and clean work environment, and observes best practices in all production activities.
• Other duties as assigned.
