Job summary

Vestis Corporation is seeking a warehouse associate for our industrial laundry facility. This role handles merchandise safely, expeditiously, and accurately as part of a team, following shipment schedules and garment routing rules.

Responsibilities include routing garments, handling batches, and identifying quality issues while maintaining a clean, safe work area. Prior laundry or warehouse experience is helpful; high school diploma preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand all required training, written, and verbal instructions.
• Working knowledge of basic math skills.
• Good verbal and/or written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to meet attendance schedule.

Responsibilities

• Follows a shipping schedule and routes garments for sort areas.
• Places garments on conveyors or hooks by route and sort order.
• Hangs garments by route and batch, and manages odd garments correctly.
• Notifies supervisor of quality, mechanical, or shipping problems.
• Monitors for wrinkles and removes items not meeting quality standards.
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment and follows production best practices.
