Job summary

Vestis in Lincoln, NE is seeking a reliable warehouse associate to join our industrial laundry team. You will be responsible for sorting, routing, and preparing garments, maintaining a safe work environment, and complying with quality requirements.

The role requires basic math, good communication, and the ability to work well in a team or independently. Shifts 8am-4:30pm, with possible overtime on weekends.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to understand written and verbal instructions.
• Basic math and counting skills applicable to sorting and routing.

Responsibilities

• Becomes familiar with garment numbering system and shipping schedule.
• Follow shipping schedule and separate garments into routes.
• Move garments from supply rail to conveyors by route or batch.
• Hang shirts by route and pants before the next batch.
• Identify and place odd garments in correct spaces.
• Notify supervisor of quality, mechanical, or schedule problems.
• Monitor for wrinkles and discard garments not meeting quality standards.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and follow production practices.
• Other duties as assigned.
