Lynwood Unified School District is seeking a Gardener for full-time, year-round grounds maintenance at assigned sites. The role supports athletic fields, event grounds, and campus landscaping, ensuring safe, attractive environments for students and staff.
The Gardener reports to the designated administrator and requires at least 6 months of grounds maintenance experience and a valid California DMV Class C license. A comprehensive benefits package and ongoing district support are provided.

FULL-TIME POSITION: EIGHT (8) HOURS PER DAY; TWELVE (12) MONTHS PER YEAR.
The job of Gardener is done for the purpose/s of providing grounds maintenance services at assigned site/s; ensuring attractive and safe grounds area/s and athletic fields; protecting against erosion; performing a variety of special grounds maintenance operations; and maintaining grounds for assemblies, events and/or recreational activities.
This job reports to Designated Administrator.

Please note that the District reserves the right to add, eliminate or adjust testing steps and/or information on the posting at any time during the position posting and testing process. The process may include, but is not limited to, further testing inclusive of on-the-job testing, recruitment and recruitment extensions, which may be for less than fifteen (15) days after the certification of an eligibility list. As a result, there may be adjustments if reasonable or necessary.
If you would like to review your examination after receiving your test results notice, you must submit the "Examination Review Form" to Classified Personnel within seven (7) working days of the result notice date. You may obtain the "Examination Review Form" from the Classified Personnel department. It is the responsibility of the job applicant to submit the "Examination Review Form" within the designated time frame. If the requirements for the examination review are met, a Classified Personnel will schedule an appointment for the review.
